Ruth Lopert, B.Sc., B.Med., M.Med.Sci., is a public health physician and pharmacoepidemiologist and is currently Principal Medical Adviser at the Therapeutic Goods Administration, the Australian drug and therapeutics regulatory agency. Dr. Lopert was previously a 2006–07 Harkness Fellow in Health Care Policy and Practice and visiting professor in the Department of Health Policy at George Washington University. Dr. Lopert's research interests include health technology assessment, comparative health policy, pharmaceutical policy, pharmaceutical intellectual property, drug pricing, and access to medicines.
