Petra W. Rasmussen is the program associate for research and fellowships in the International Program on Health Policy and Innovation. Ms. Rasmussen has responsibility for coordinating the day-to-day administration of the current Harkness Fellows; the Harkness Alumni Network; the Australian-American Health Policy Fellowship; the International Case Studies publication series; and is co-editor of the International Health Policy Newsletter. Ms. Rasmussen joined the Fund in October 2011 having previously interned for the Wake County Human Services Tuberculosis Clinic and served as a policy analyst for the Office of Citywide Health Insurance Access, analyzing the impact of local, state, and federal legislation and regulations on New York City and its residents. Ms. Rasmussen has also worked as the project coordinator for the Coronary Health Disease Policy Model at Columbia University Medical Center. Ms. Rasmussen holds a B.A. in Global Health Practices and Policies from Duke University and an M.P.H. in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health.
