Ashley-Kay Fryer joined the Fund in June 2009 as the program assistant for Health Care Quality Improvement and Efficiency. In this role, she provides general administrative support to the program and its director. She is the program staff member responsible for writing, editing, and research assistance in the development of grants and in support of analysis of Fund sponsored surveys. Upon graduation from Harvard College in June, 2008, Ms. Fryer worked at J.P. Morgan Chase as an investment banking equity sales analyst. While in college, Ms. Fryer was employed as a research assistant at the New England Primate Research Center of the Harvard Medical School, managing a project involving behavioral testing of Primates. From 2006 to 2008 Ms. Fryer also worked at the Harvard School of Public Health as a team member of a collaborative work-family project studying workplace practices and policies that impact the health of employees and their families. Studying abroad for a semester, she conducted international research on HIV in India, China, and South Africa. Ms. Fryer graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a BA in a self-designed major, “The Determinants of Population Health” and a minor in health policy.
