Collins The EBRI/Commonwealth Fund Consumerism in Health Care Survey has garnered a national reputation as an unbiased source of information on high-deductible health insurance plans with health savings accounts—collectively referred to as consumer-driven health plans. The 2007 survey will provide an update on Americans' experiences with consumer-driven health care and explore new issues, including: the extent to which the plans' incentives affect the use of preventive and chronic care services, the availability and use of information about providers and services, and Americans' views of new policy proposals that affect the tax deductibility of other health savings tools. Cofunding for the survey will be provided by Hewitt Associates, IBM, Pfizer, and Proctor & Gamble.
