Jamie Hill, M.B.A., is the former program associate for administration and grants management in the Commonwealth Fund’s International Program in Health Policy and Practice Innovations. Ms. Hill joined the Fund in May 2015 as program assistant and was promoted in July 2016. She had primary responsibility for management of board and small grants, serving as the frontline contact for correspondence with grantees to develop product and dissemination strategies, scope projects and develop actionable timelines. She provided end-to-end support for the Harkness Fellowships in Health Care Policy and Practice and has day-to-day administrative responsibility for the international program’s internal activities. Ms. Hill also managed the contractual arrangements with international fellowship partners and provides additional reporting as necessary. Previously she worked at Democracy Now!, an award-winning daily global news hour and independent media organization, where she was the development and administrative assistant. Ms. Hill graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in history from Quinnipiac University in May 2012 and recently completed an M.B.A. specializing in management from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
