Garey Mazowita, M.D., heads the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Providence Health Care, which, with 15 sites in Vancouver, is one of Canada’s largest, faith-based health care organizations. He is also a clinical professor at the University of British Columbia and a representative to the General Practice Services Committee (GPSC) for the British Columbia Ministry of Health. He received his medical degree from University of Manitoba.
