Adrian Garcia Mosqueira is a PhD Student in Health Policy at Harvard University, where his research focus is on healthcare access issues in the United States, especially for immigrant and low-income groups. Before starting his doctoral program, Adrian worked as a Research Manager for Erica Field at Duke University, where he oversaw several research projects encompassing health topics including Zambian maternal mortality and fertility, microfinance and health outcomes, as well as RCTs in India and Bangladesh.

Adrian’s interests in health and development economics began during his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Riverside (UCR), where he earned an award for Academic Excellence in Research for his work on Latin American immigrant remittances. Upon graduating with degrees in Economics and History in 2007, Adrian entered the Economics Masters Program at Duke University. During his program, Adrian joined the Duke Global Health Institute and worked on quantifying the economic impact of Global Health research activities in North Carolina.
