Morgan Traina is the Fund’s intern for evaluation and survey research for 2017-2018, supporting the vice president in two areas: foundation evaluation (including strategic analysis of the Fund’s past five years of work, assessing impact and organizational effectiveness at the Fund) and the international health policy survey methodology advisory group (which is charged with working with survey partners to develop a methodological strategy for the next decade of the Fund’s International Health Policy Surveys). Ms. Traina is a second year M.P.H. student at the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health. She received her B.A. in history of science, medicine and public health from Yale University in 2015. Prior to starting her master’s program, she worked at Trinity Partners, LLC, a global life sciences consulting firm. There, she synthesized quantitative and qualitative research and provided pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients with strategy recommendations regarding their products. She also previously served as an intern with the Analysis Group, an economic, financial and strategy consulting firm in Menlo Park, CA in the summer of 2017; was a research analyst at the Townsend and Galvani laboratories at the Yale School of Public Health in the summer of 2014; and was an intern in the Department of Infection Prevention and Control at St. Francis Medical Center on Lynwood, CA in the summer of 2013.
