The Healthy Steps for Young Children Program: Staff Training, Implementation, and Materials, 1997–98

During the initial phases of this project, a multidisciplinary team at Boston University developed and produced a Healthy Steps staff training curriculum and implementation manual, provided initial training and technical assistance to Healthy Steps sites, and created informational materials for parents. In 1997-98, the team will provide second-year training and implementation support, as well as on-site technical assistance. In addition, the team will continue development of training and informational materials for staff and parents. Cofunding is provided by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, interested givers, and the Carnegie Corporation of New York.
