The Kaiser/Commonwealth Low Income Coverage and Access Project: State Case Studies, Phase Two

×

To understand the implications of moving Medicaid beneficiaries from fee-for-service arrangements into managed care, the Kaiser/Commonwealth Low Income Coverage and Access Project has supported a series of state case studies, surveys, and focus groups since 1994. This joint effort has produced critical information for federal and state policymakers on the impact of state Medicaid reforms on coverage and access to care for low income families. A second phase of the state case study portion of the project will revisit the states to monitor change over time, conduct in-depth analyses of critical issues identified in the first round of studies, and disseminate the new information.
