The Healthy Steps for Young Children Program: Staff Training, Implementation, and Materials, Phase Five


During the coming year, the Boston University team will continue to support the program through technical assistance to the 24 Healthy Steps sites; collaboration on the development of the multimedia training package; training institutes for new child health providers; and dissemination of the Healthy Steps approach through professional journal articles and presentations at national conferences and medical schools. The Boston team will also work with program staff and Johns Hopkins staff to assure quality and help spread the approach throughout the nation. Cofunding for the project will be provided by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and interested givers.
