Healthy Steps Training for Pediatric Clinicians, Year Five

The Healthy Steps team at the Boston University School of Medicine has developed the training and materials that are essential to successful implementation of the Healthy Steps approach. During the coming year, the team will conduct a three-day training institute for pediatric clinicians implementing the approach, offer on-site training to those sites ready to incorporate Healthy Steps in their practices, provide four one-day continuing medical education courses on developmentally oriented pediatrics, and provide clinical consultation to the original sites. The team will also work with program staff to develop a strategic plan for incorporating Healthy Steps into pediatric residency training and ongoing pediatric education around the country. Cofunding will continue to be provided by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and interested givers
