Improving Program Outreach to Low-Income Medicare Beneficiaries, Phase One

×

Many low-income Medicare beneficiaries are not receiving the supplemental health coverage for which they are eligible through state Medicaid programs. This project will convene federal, state, and local health care policy experts and enrollment specialists to identify alternative action-oriented strategies for increasing the elderly poor's participation in Medicaid and related programs it administers. Results will inform the Fund about the most promising opportunities for, and potential design of, an action project in this area. http://www.georgetown.edu
