Reducing Health Insurance Barriers and Improving Quality of Care for Hispanic Populations

Previous research sponsored by the Fund has documented the pervasive lack of adequate health insurance coverage and access to quality medical care within Hispanic communities. By supporting two regional meetings and a national conference, this project will bring together leaders from business, health care, government, and local communities to learn about findings from the latest Fund-supported work in this area. The meetings, which will help the Fund reach new audiences, will also provide a venue for exploring public-private initiatives to improve Hispanics' health coverage and access to culturally appropriate care.
