Comprehensive Immigration Reform: Opportunities to Improve Immigrant Health

×

Under the direction of Leighton Ku, this project will convene an immigrant health workgroup which will identify policy alternatives to improving health coverage and access to care for immigrant populations. This project will track the progress of comprehensive immigration reform legislation through November 2013, review how current policies influence immigrants’ access to care, and examine how policies could be augmented to improve immigrants’ access to care if immigrant groups remain excluded from Affordable Care Act benefits under immigration reform.
