Mongan Commonwealth Fund Fellowship

Since 1996, the Mongan Commonwealth Fund Fellowship in Minority Health Policy has developed a network of physicians dedicated to reducing disparities in health care. During the year-long master’s program at Harvard, physicians receive enriched training in health policy, public health, and management, all with an emphasis on improving care delivery systems for vulnerable populations. Fellows also may pursue an optional second year of practicum experience. With the fellowship’s renewed focus on improving vulnerable populations’ access to high-performance health systems, the staff at Harvard will continue to implement a variety of changes to further this mission. The Fund grant for 2015–16 will support at least four M.P.H. candidates at the Harvard School of Public Health.
