Identifying Opportunities for Expanding the PACE Model to High-Need, High-Cost Populations

A team at Research Triangle Institute (RTI) will estimate currently eligible and newly eligible PACE populations, providing information about population size by service area, current patterns of health care utilization and expenditures, and outcomes. As part of its work to identify PACE's key features and strengths, the National PACE Association will isolate those health care domains for which the program has the greatest potential to improve outcomes, such as reduction in emergency department use or increase in flu immunization.
