Putnam Consulting Group will work with Fund staff to create and manage an RFI and a subsequent RFP, if needed, to select a partner organization for the fellowship. Activities include clarifying the Fund’s priorities for the program; identifying potential cofunders and host institutions; drafting the RFI and managing the application process; and subsequently managing the RFP. The project will continue the work of prior grants that evaluated the fellowship and began the process of reconfiguring it. We will continue to obtain input from the advisory committee established in phase 1.
By improving the design, structure, and content of the Mongan Fellowship, this project is expected to increase the program’s impact and further its goal of training minority leaders positioned to transform care for vulnerable populations. The work undertaken will also ensure a smooth transition to a new partner organization, if Harvard is not selected.
