Health Policy Briefings, Meetings, and Congressional Staff Retreat, 2017

The Alliance proposes to host a series of briefings on Capitol Hill for congressional staff, support agency staff, administration staff, journalists, and the broader health care policy community, with topics to be determined based on interest and timeliness. A bipartisan health policy retreat targeting senior congressional staff and staff of congressional support agencies will also be held. When appropriate, the Alliance may also schedule smaller, off-the-record meetings for congressional staff.

The staff retreat and briefings serve as educational opportunities for congressional and agency staff. They also function as additional points of contact between the Alliance, the Fund, and congressional offices, helping to promote attendance at member breakfasts and the member retreat.
