OECD 2017 International Heath Policy Forum

The Commonwealth Fund would co-sponsor this high level one-day international policy forum. David Blumenthal, president of the Fund, would deliver the Keynote Address. A session on “Caring for Patients with Complex Needs,” including Fund vice president, Robin Osborn, as a speaker, would present the work of the Fund’s International Working Group on High-Needs, High Cost Patients. This session will be informed by the Commonwealth Fund’s recent work and showcase the main findings of its forthcoming “Report to Health Ministers on Prerequisites for a High-Performing Health Care System for Patients With Complex Needs.”

The Fund’s recommendations for a health care system designed around patients with complex needs will gain widespread exposure through presentation to an international audience of 300-400 health care ministers and senior policy thinkers.
