Amita Rastogi

Amita Rastogi, M.D.,M.H.A. is Bridges to Excellence's chief medical officer responsible for developing Prometheus's evidence-informed case rates (ECRs). In that capacity, she oversees the analytics and modeling of all the ECRs and interfaces with the operational team to help translate the modeling into the Prometheus payment mechanisms. Prior to this, Dr. Rastogi was senior medical director at Ingenix, a leading Health IT company, where she was nationally recognized for developing transparency tools to measure performance of hospitals and physicians with regard to quality and efficiency. Dr. Rastogi is a Mayo-trained cardiac surgeon, certified in heart and lung transplantation, and has over 20 years of experience in the clinical arena as well as in clinical and health services research. She received her masters degree in health administration from the Martin School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Kentucky. She is currently finishing her masters in biostatistics at the University of Chicago.
