The NHS has released its information strategy, outlining plans to put data (stripped of identifying details) about every NHS treatment in the public domain by 2015. The framework also reiterated the NHS' commitment to providing patients with online access to their primary care health records and giving patients the option to make doctors' appointments and refill prescriptions online. The plan does not detail how these efforts will be financed.
