Project Leader, International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM)

Jacob A. Lippa, M.P.H., is project leader for the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM). Previously, he was senior research associate for the Tracking Health System Performance program with The Commonwealth Fund’s scorecard team located at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this role, Mr. Lippa had primary responsibility for conducting analytic work to update the ongoing series of health system scorecard reports, managing data collection and analysis and serving as coauthor both of reports and other related analyses for publication. Prior to joining The Commonwealth Fund, Mr. Lippa was a senior research analyst at HealthCare Research, Inc., in Denver, where for more than six years he designed, executed and analyzed customized research for health care payer, provider and government agency clients. During this time, he was also a research assistant at Princeton University’s Center for Health and Wellbeing. Mr. Lippa graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2002 and received a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in health care policy and management from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health in December 2011.
