Katherine Shea

Katherine Shea, M.P.H., is former research associate for the president of The Commonwealth Fund. Previously, she served as program associate for the Fund's Child Development and Preventive Care program and for the Patient-Centered Primary Care Initiative. Prior to joining the Fund in January 2005, Ms. Shea worked as a session assistant at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. While in college, Ms. Shea was a teaching assistant with the Guggenheim's Learning Through Art Program at P.S. 89 and a special events intern for the Museum of Modern Art. She also worked as a receptionist at Norwich Medical Associates during the summers. She holds a B.A. in Art History from Columbia University and an M.P.H. in Health Policy at Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health.
