Sabrina Corlette, J.D., is a research professor and project director at the Center on Health Insurance Reforms, Health Policy Institute, McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University. Her areas of focus include state and federal regulation of private health insurance plans and markets, and implementation of new rules for insurance markets under the Affordable Care Act. She serves as a consumer representative to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, and was appointed to its Consumer Information Workgroup. She is a member of the National Academy of Social Insurance, and serves on the Advisory Council to the Bipartisan Policy Center’s Health Project. She received her law degree with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin, and her undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
