Thomas Mahoney

Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Rochester Individual Practice Association

Thomas Mahoney, M.D., has been chief executive officer and executive director of RIPA since 2003, following 10 years of service as president of the organization. Dr. Mahoney is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and maintains a private practice in general internal medicine. He received his M.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. Dr. Mahoney currently serves on the boards of Lifetime Healthcare, Lifetime Care, Med America Insurance Company, Rochester BlueCross BlueShield, and the St. Joseph's Neighborhood Center.
