Audrey McIntosh

Former Program Associate, Federal and State Health Policy

Audrey McIntosh, M.P.H., is a former program associate for the Federal and State Health Policy team at the Commonwealth Fund. She is now a public health analyst for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, Defense Production Act — Emergency Response Authorities Branch. Before joining the Fund in July 2019, Ms. McIntosh gained experience in health and environmental policy at the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, the Alliance for Health Policy, and the Environmental Defense Fund. Prior to moving to Washington, D.C., in 2017, she worked on children’s environmental health issues at the Healthy Homes Coalition of West Michigan and led local affordable housing advocacy efforts through Grand Rapids Homes for All. Ms. McIntosh earned her M.P.H. in health policy from The George Washington University and her B.A. in kinesiology from Calvin College.
