Caroline A. Baan, Ph.D., is chief science officer at the RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment and a professor of Integrated Health Care at the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences of Tilburg University, both in the Netherlands. She received her Ph.D. in biology from Utrecht University.
