Harkness Fellowships in Health Care Policy and Practice

The Commonwealth Fund's Harkness Fellowships in Health Care Policy and Practice provide a unique opportunity for mid-career health services researchers and practitioners from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, and the United Kingdom to spend up to 12 months in the United States, conducting original research and working with leading U.S. health policy experts. Read a Harkness Fellowships brochure for more information.

2016-17 Harkness Fellowship Application Deadlines:

January 4, 2016: France
January 11, 2016: Norway

(The deadlines have passed for applications from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and the U.K. Since 2011, through a collaboration with the Swedish Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, support for one Swedish Harkness Fellow has been provided annually. We regret to announce, however, that funding will not be available after 2015-16, and the Swedish Harkness Fellowship has been withdrawn for 2016-17.)
