The Australian–American Health Policy Fellowship offers a unique opportunity for outstanding, mid-career U.S. professionals—academics, government officials, clinical leaders, decision-makers in health care delivery systems and health care plans, and journalists—to spend up to 10 months in Australia conducting research and working with leading Australian health policy experts on issues relevant to both countries.
The deadline for receipt of applications for the 2015–16 fellowship is September 10, 2014.
For a full 10-month stay in Australia, the fellowship awards up to $80,500 (AUD) which includes a living allowance, research-related travel, and conferences. There is also a family supplement available (e.g. up to $25,400 for a partner and two children). Round-trip airfare to Australia is also covered.
