The state is responsible for all marketplace functions, including health plan management, consumer assistance, eligibility and enrollment, financing, and marketing and outreach. The state manages its own marketplace website where individuals can enroll in coverage.

Annual Open Enrollment Period Extensions

Extended 2022 open enrollment

Extended 2022 open enrollment period through Feb. 28, 2022.

Extended the 2018 open enrollment period through Dec. 22, 2017, but did not extend the 2019 open enrollment period. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, enrollment for 2020 was reopened from Mar. 16, 2020 through July 15, 2020 and also from Aug. 7, 2020 through Dec. 15, 2020. Enrollment for 2021 was reopened from Jan. 4, 2021 through Aug. 15, 2021.**

Health Coverage Subsidies

In 2022 and 2023, state will provide premium subsidies for young adults enrolled in marketplace coverage (subsidies are in addition to federal premium tax credits)
