The Commonwealth Fund’s Harkness Fellowships have, for over a century, provided a unique opportunity for individuals committed to advancing health policy and practice to spend a year in the United States conducting internationally comparative work with mentorship from leading U.S. experts. Alongside their projects, Fellows engage in a series of leadership development activities, gain an in-depth understanding of the U.S. health care system and policy landscape, and build lasting international relationships for ongoing exchange and collaboration.
The program is open to eligible individuals residing in the following countries: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
