Beth Dempsey is a grants associate in the Grants Management Office at the Commonwealth Fund. Her responsibilities include managing the contracting process with Fund grantees. Dempsey comes to the Fund from the Children’s Oncology Group, where she was a sponsored projects officer and administered pre-award and post-award functions for a variety of funding mechanisms. Before that, she worked at the American Association for Cancer Research, where she developed grants programs for basic, clinical, and translational research grants for their membership. Dempsey earned a B.A. in political science from The George Washington University.
