Herman Kaur Bhupal is a program associate in the Commonwealth Fund’s Health Care Coverage and Access program. She joined the Fund in 2017 as a program assistant and was promoted to her current position in July 2018. She is responsible for providing daily support for the program with responsibilities ranging from daily administrative and grants management tasks to writing and research responsibilities. Since August 2016, Ms. Bhupal has been an associate at PwC Strategy&, where she has served several health care clients in a strategy consulting role. She graduated with honors with a B.A. in economics from Harvard University in May 2016. While in school she served as president of the Sustained Dialogue initiative, vice president of CARE Consent and Healthy Relationships Peer Educators and was an active member of the Women’s Initiative in Leadership. During the summer of 2015, Ms. Bhupal interned at Decision Resources Group in Burlington, MA. In the summer of 2014, she was a Paul G. Rogers Scholar on Health Policy Analysis and Advocacy for the National Coalition on Health Care in Washington, D.C. In 2013, she was a summer intern with Peer Health Exchange in New York City.
