Jennifer Lau

Jen Lau, M.P.A., is a former program associate for the Quality Improvement and Efficiency program at The Commonwealth Fund. In this role, she provided general administrative support to the program director and was the staff member responsible for providing the daily support for the program including, writing, editing, and research assistance in the development of grants and in support of analysis of Fund-sponsored surveys. Ms. Lau joined the Fund in August 2006 after receiving her B.A. in cultural and social anthropology with a minor in human biology from Stanford University. While in school, she was a member of a diabetes health assessment group helping to design a survey, facilitate group interviews, and collaborate with local health partnerships and other community leaders. Ms. Lau also organized Stanford's 2006 Ultimate Frisbee Invitational Tournament and helped the women's team win two college national championships in 2005 and 2006. Ms. Lau received an M.P.A. in health policy and management at New York University's Wagner School of Public Service.
