Max Horowitz joined the Wynne Health Group as a Policy Counsel in January 2018. With a background in health care policy and regulatory matters, he assists the firm by analyzing legislation, researching areas of regulatory concern, and providing strategic advice to a range of health care sector clients. Prior to joining the Wynne Health Group, Mr. Horowitz worked for a boutique health care firm in a similar capacity.
Mr. Horowitz earned a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served as Vice President of the Health Law Society. During his law school career, he clerked for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as Georgia Regents University, which is home to the Medical College of Georgia. Mr. Horowitz also brings to the Wynne Health Group experience in applying health care policy on a local government level. During the summer before the first open enrollment period prescribed by the Affordable Care Act, he interned in New York City’s Office of Citywide Health Insurance Access. There, he assisted with the office’s efforts to analyze the law’s impact on access to health insurance for city residents.
Mr. Horowitz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Binghamton University. He has also spent two summers leading backcountry wilderness adventures.
