Authorization to Support Acquisition and Development of Scorecard Measures and Data from External Sources

Grant funding under this authorization will support the update of existing state performance measures featured in the Scorecard and data center, including employer coverage spending, commercial provider prices, primary care spending, ambulatory-care-sensitive hospital admissions, and long-term care. It also will support the development of new measures in key priority areas for the Fund – health care sector greenhouse gas and other toxic emissions and health sector efforts to reduce those emissions, consumer out-of-pocket spending and medical debt, prescription drug spending and quality, and the effect of the pandemic on state health system workforces.
