The grantee would continue his previous efforts in advancing the breakthrough program by providing ongoing support to the new program officer in two primary areas:
1. The development and dissemination of the DHA initiative, such as additional work to advance the vision, disseminate results of design work on patients and how the DHA might meet their needs, and work on plausible strategies for development and spread of a DHA to the Fund’s populations of interest.
2. The development of breakthrough program processes, in particular for identifying and prioritizing new initiatives to explore in future rounds of grant making.
This grant is expected to accelerate the establishment and codification of breakthrough program processes and the advancement of the IT-enabled consumer work.
