This project will develop a business case for decarbonization of the U.S. health care delivery system. It will employ New York University's Stern Center’s Return on Sustainability Investment (ROSI) methodology to categorize decarbonization strategies and then create tools to analyze their potential financial returns to health systems. The framework and tools will be developed and tested in partnership with three to four health systems, which will share the data needed to assess strategies and quantify their benefits.
