This project will describe the extent and time trend in overlap between major Medicare ACO models and bundled payment programs at the beneficiary, provider, and market levels. It will also evaluate a) how patient case mix changes for beneficiaries based on whether care overlaps between ACOs and bundled payment hospitals, and b) how ACO and bundled payment hospitals and markets differ based on the extent of overlap.
