Families USA (FUSA) will work closely with the Alliance for a Healthy Kansas, a coalition leader in Kansas, to engage key stakeholders on the value of Medicaid and fiscal impacts through FUSA’s Medicaid Expansion Leadership Team (MELT). FUSA will provide strategic guidance and technical assistance to state partners in Kansas. FUSA will assist with data analysis; targeted messaging based on this analysis and in-state political dynamics; and leverage their partnerships to build a diverse, bipartisan stakeholder coalition in Kansas. The Alliance for a Healthy Kansas will work closely with FUSA to convene coalition members, educate stakeholders and policymakers through meetings and fact sheets, and develop key county-level analysis of the fiscal impacts of Medicaid expansion.
