Studying the Impact of Medicaid Expansion on Small Business Owners

This project will deepen the Commonwealth Fund's understanding of the impact of Medicaid expansion among Colorado small businesses. We believe that understanding the personal experiences of small-business owners in this key state may inform ongoing policy conversations both locally and in neighboring states. For example, the views of small-business owners in Colorado may enlighten the current Medicaid expansion debate in Kansas. By gathering feedback from small-business owners who have directly experienced the impact of Medicaid expansion, we believe this project will enhance local and national conversations around this important issue.
