Support for the Commonwealth Fund Medicare Data Hub

This project will monitor key trends in the Medicare program and provide production support for the Medicare Data Hub. The project will update current Data Hub charts with the latest available data, as well as work with Fund staff to identify additional areas for monitoring, which could include differences in the quality, access, or cost of care rendered to individuals in Medicare. Exact topics and research questions will be decided in conjunction with Fund staff to respond to current needs and the policy landscape. Data sources include the Medicare Current Beneficiary Survey, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) State/County Penetration Files, CMS Landscape Source, Plan, and Premium files, and Plan Benefit Package files.
