Supporting Development of the Health Equity Fund

Avalere will support Fund staff in developing the strategies and tactics for the Health Equity Fund. They will: 1) conduct a landscape assessment to identify pilots and health systems addressing health equity and foundations developing work in this health equity space; 2) conduct key informant interviews of leading experts in health equity to uncover gaps in addressing the structural drivers of health care disparities; 3) develop criteria for evaluating possible national experts and thought leaders for an advisory committee and provide logistical and content support in convening them; and 4) synthesize the literature reviews, landscape assessment, key informant interviews, and feedback from the Advisory Committee to inform the goals and strategies of the Health Equity Fund.
