Andrea Landes, M.B.A., is vice president, grants management at The Commonwealth Fund, where she leads the team responsible for effective and efficient management of the Fund's grants and its grantmaking processes. In this role, Ms. Landes is responsible for proposal review and management, contractual and financial management of Fund grants, the grants management database, and program monitoring activities. Prior to joining the Fund in 2000, Ms. Landes was administrative manager for the Evelyn Lauder Breast Center at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, and also held positions in public affairs and government relations at Merck & Co., Inc. Ms. Landes holds a B.A. in English from the University of Rochester and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, with an emphasis on health administration and policy.
