Ankit Sanghavi is Executive Director of Texas Health Institute (THI), an independent nonprofit public health institute that advances evidence-informed, consensus-driven solutions to improve health and healthcare. He leads statewide and national initiatives that bring together policymakers, healthcare organizations, community leaders, and other stakeholders to strengthen access to care and improve community health outcomes through research, strategy, and cross-sector collaboration.
A trained dentist and health policy expert, Ankit specializes in translating data, research, and stakeholder perspectives into practical policy and systems solutions. His work focuses on aligning financing, delivery, workforce, and policy across healthcare and public health to improve health outcomes, advance affordability, and build healthier, more resilient communities.
Ankit co-leads the Texas Primary Care Consortium, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the National Network of Public Health Institutes, as well as the advisory boards of the Texas A&M University School of Public Health and the Texas Health Improvement Network. He is a frequent speaker and advisor on primary care transformation, oral health integration, health system strategy, and cross-sector approaches to improving population health.
