David Bricklin-Small

Program Officer, Center for Health Care Strategies

David Bricklin-Small is a program officer at the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS). In this role, he is part of CHCS' Child Health Quality team, where he works to implement multi-stakeholder collaboratives aimed at improving the quality of health care services provided to children in Medicaid. He serves as project manager for the Psychotropic Medications Quality Improvement Collaborative, and works on two CHIPRA contracts focused on quality improvement and implementation of Care Management Entities for children with behavioral health needs. Mr. Bricklin-Small is also involved in CHCS' delivery system reform efforts with a particular focus on primary care payment reform.

Prior to joining CHCS, Mr. Bricklin-Small managed the development of performance measures as a policy analyst at the American Medical Association. He also has experience in the delivery of social and behavioral health services for low-income populations. Mr. Bricklin-Small holds a master's degree in public policy from the University of Chicago, a master's degree in clinical psychology from the University of Oregon, and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Clark University.
