Julie Lee

Julie Lee, Ph.D., a senior policy researcher at Acumen LLC, has more than 25 years of experience conducting economic and policy research on Medicare. During her years at the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) and the Congressional Budget Office, she wrote on wide-ranging issues related to the Medicare program, including various Medicare payment models, alternative benefit design in Medicare, competitive bidding, and a variety of legislative initiatives in health policy. Prior to joining Acumen, she was a senior consultant at Intermountain Healthcare focusing on value-based payment models in Medicare, including the Medicare Shared Savings Program and Direct Contracting models. Lee earned a Ph.D. in economics from Yale University.
