Relebohile Masitha, M.S., joined the Commonwealth Fund in 2021 as a program assistant in the Health Care Coverage and Access program. She is responsible for providing daily support for the program, with responsibilities ranging from administration and grants management to tracking health reform policy developments and working on research projects. Masitha received her M.S. degree in global health policy and management (health economics and analytics) from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University in May 2021. She received her B.A. in public health and economics from Agnes Scott College, where she worked as a public health learning assistant and a writing and speaking tutor. Masitha also served as a tuberculosis surveillance intern for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Tuberculosis. As a research intern with the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, she also spent a summer conducting qualitative HIV research in Ghana.
