In a new brief, Commonwealth Fund–supported researchers from the National Association of Medicaid Directors review the many payment and delivery system reforms being led by state Medicaid agencies. They identify three key success factors: incorporating health care providers' perspectives; securing adequate resources, including staff expertise; and supporting the infrastructure needed to implement the reforms.
